From Italian chef and restaurateur Roberto Bearzi and wife Fiorella Blancocomes — the owners of Fratelli Milano downtown — comes Vista, a romantic Italian stunner, hidden away in the Upper Buena Vista complex. The kitchen is overseen by Chilean-Italian chef Giuliano Leverone (Cecconi’s, Barceloneta and Matador Room).
Located halfway between the Design District and Little Haiti, you’ll find this spot amid a fairytale-like 150-year-old Banyan tree, eclectic boutiques and hippie hangouts. Vista is comprised of an indoor dining room, outdoor patio and rooftop terrace (opening later this season). The neo-industrial space oozes millennial charm with soaring concrete ceilings, plenty of greenery and colorful cushions offset with wicker chairs.
