You don’t have to be in Rome to eat as the Romans do. Eataly, an authentic Italian marketplace and restaurant, is finally coming to the West Coast: and exclusively to Westfield Century City. Opening the doors to the new store will reveal an experience like no other. Standing three stories tall, Eataly will feature a vast array of products to purchase and taste. Pathways will be lined with authentic Italian produce and the atmosphere will feel much like an outdoor Italian market.
“We are very excited to be coming to Los Angeles, a city that is very vibrant in its’ food scene,” said USA Eataly CEO Nicola Farinetti. “It’s our first post on the West Coast, and we are now in the process of scouting talent and local producers.” Eataly believes in authenticity in order to bring Italy to the table. Current produce partners include Urbani Truffles from the hills of central and northern Italy, and Afeltra, which has been hand making pastas in Gragnano, Campania since 1848.
