In Collaboration with Cinecitta, Cinema Italy will bring a series of five films that participated to the David di Donatello Awards in 2021 FREE and open to the public in the weekend of October 7th to the 9th 2022. This is a Special Event, stay tuned for the full festival in 2023.
The Coral Gables Art Cinema, 260 Aragon Ave. Coral Gables 33134, will serve as backdrop for this free event opening on Friday October 7th at 6:00pm with a cocktail hosted by the General Consulate of Italy and followed at 7:00pm with the film “L’Arminuta” and continuing on Saturday October 8th with the films “Lovely Boy” at 3:00pm and “Una Relazione” at 6:00pm and on Sunday October 9th with the film “La Terra dei Figli” at 3:00pm and concluding with “Welcome Venice” at 6:00pm.
All films are in Italian with English subtitles and synopsis are available at www.cinemaitaly.com. No ticket purchase is necessary but arrive early as seating is on a first come, first served basis.
ITALIAN SCREENS is a promotional initiative of the Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale (MAECI), Cinecittà per la Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo del Ministero della Cultura (DGCA-MiC) e Accademia del Cinema Italiano - Premi David di Donatello.
