Cesare Faldini has earned the title of the most decorated orthopedic surgeon on the global stage, shining a spotlight not only on his own achievements but also on the city of Bologna. Over the past decade, he has received an impressive 30 honors for his work—recognition that now fills a shelf in his office at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute, where he serves as Director of Orthopedic and Trauma Clinic I.
Now 54 years old, Faldini was most recently honored by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the world’s leading orthopedic surgical society with more than 35,000 members. His groundbreaking surgical videos have become a cornerstone of the AAOS’s online Video Library, a digital platform used by surgeons around the globe to train and stay up-to-date on advanced orthopedic techniques.
