The U.S. women’s national team will conclude its 2025 schedule against European opponents Italy. Le Azzurre will oppose Emma Hayes’ squad in a pair of fall friendlies on November 28 and December 1 respectively, U.S. Soccer announced Monday. Inter & Co Stadium in Orlando, Florida and Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida will serve as the two venues for the matches.
It will mark the first head-to-head meeting between the United States and Italy since the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup. “As we prepare for World Cup qualifying at the end of 2026, we want to play teams from all parts of the world with different styles and different strengths, so getting to play Italy, one of Europe’s up-and-coming teams, will be a great way to end the year,” said Hayes.
