On Saturday, members of the Italian American Club of Duluth spent the day making 3,630 meatballs for their upcoming Spaghetti Dinner. The Annual Italian American Club of Duluth Spaghetti Dinner is a fundraiser, where the club raises money for the scholarships they will give out to kids.
Dan Klaas is the president of the Italian American Club of Duluth, and he says about 25 people helped with the preparations, including rolling meatballs, making sauce and setting up salad dressing. “We have a good time, a lot of laughs. And I make sure I bring donuts to keep everybody happy and we’re good to go.”
