The concert “Italy and America in Dialogue: Pizzetti, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Bernstein” is the first of five musical initiatives promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute of New York in partnership with Carnegie Hall’s “United in Sound: America at 250” festival.
This program explores the exchange between Italy, Europe, and America through three composers whose works embody a cultural dialogue across the Atlantic. Together, these works show how identities in music are constantly enriched through migration, encounter, and exchange between Old and New Worlds.
