The Martinis are a family that immigrated to Delhi Township in the 1800s. They have complete records of family members, along with correspondence between both countries to make a complete family history. The Martini family started in Italy. They accomplished a lot there.
An Italian painter, Seaman Martini (1283-1344), painted a picture of St. Martin for a little Italian church and as a result he became the Pope's official artist. Another Martini, Jean Baptist Martini, was a Jesuit priest and went to convert China.
