Dal prossimo 12 settembre sarà attivo un nuovo collegamento aereo di America Airlines Cargo tra Fiumicino e Dallas Forth Worth, scalo in cui la compagnia ha il suo hub principale. Il servizio vedrà impiegato un 777-200 e avrà frequenza bisettimanale (con partenza da Roma il lunedì e il sabato alle 10, e decollo dallo scalo statunitense a ogni giovedì e sabato alle 18).
Questo nuovo volo di AA andrà ad affiancarsi a quello che collega lo scalo romano con Philadelphia, che era stato lanciato lo scorso maggio con frequenza settimanale. Il servizio in questione in settembre sarà operato, sempre tramite un 787-8, tre volte a settimana (con partenza da Fiumicino ogni lunedì, venerdì e sabato alle 10.30, e dalla città USA ogni mercoledì, giovedì e sabato alle 21).
