His room with a view is returning.Vetri Cucina, from celebrated chef Marc Vetri, is scheduled to reopen Nov. 1 on the 56th floor of the Palms. The restaurant is the Las Vegas outpost of the original Vetri Cucina in Philadelphia, often named one of the most influential Italian restaurants in America.
The chef, a James Beard Award winner and multiple nominee, opened the Vegas Vetri in November 2018. Less than a year and a half later, he closed the restaurant in March 2020 at the start of the pandemic, when the Palms itself also shuttered.
