We could see the return of Fazoli's to the Phoenix market very soon. The familiar Italian restaurant chain closed its last store in the area in 2008, but is trying to expand back into Phoenix, among other markets, thanks to a recent brand turnaround.
In fact, Phoenix scored very high when looking into potential growth markets according to Fazoli's CEO Carl Howard due to previous brand awareness. The recent success of the restaurant is being attributed to a transformation from being a fast-food place to more of a fast-casual restaurant.
