A new Italian restaurant, Rosalie’s Trattoria, has opened in place of the short-lived Crispino’s Pizza on Market Street. Rosalie’s, at 5031 Market St., opened in mid-November offering pizzas, pastas, soups, salads and classic Italian desserts. So far the restaurant has advertised specials like fresh calamari sautéed in homemade marinara sauce over linguini, formaggi pizza, stromboli and homemade gnocchi.
The restaurant will be open Tuesday through Sunday and customers can order for take out, dine in, order online or use services like UberEats. The former Crispino’s Pizza opened in the space in January serving pasta, subs and New York-style pizzas and later closed in August. Owner John Crispino cited an employee shortage when he shut down the restaurant.
