Mulino Italian Kitchen & Bar, downtown Raleigh’s award-winning Italian trattoria, is hosting the inaugural Turkey Ball on Nov. 8 with the goal of providing 500 turkeys to families in need of a Thanksgiving meal. Mulino will donate turkeys to several Raleigh-based charities including: Catholic Parish Outreach, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, Urban Ministries of Wake County and The Salvation Army of Wake County.
Diners can purchase tickets for $25 and with each ticket purchased, the money will go to not only purchase a turkey for a family in need, it will also allow admission for one to the Turkey Ball, a generous buffet of Italian favorites including house-made pastas, selection of Italian meats and cheeses as well as carving stations, dessert and two drink tickets.
