Italian pizza chain Piola is taking over a space previously occupied by troubled fast-casual 100 Montaditos, which recently filed for bankruptcy in Florida. The pizzeria signed a 10-year lease for a 2,517 square-foot space at 11421 South Dixie Highway in Pinecrest in the Suniland Shopping Center, Terranova Corp. announced.
The new tenant is expected to open this fall, joining Smoothie King, CVS Pharmacy, Chicken Kitchen and Citibank in the plaza. Piola also has South Florida stores in Fort Lauderdale, Hallandale Beach, Miami Beach, Miami's Brickell and Weston.
