I’ve been checking on the progress of Fat Daddy’s Italian Deli and Market on U.S. 1 in Fort Pierce for a while now and I am happy to announce it's finally open. Fat Daddy’s is the sister restaurant for 2nd Street Bistro, a popular downtown spot, but this eatery went a whole new route with its cuisine. I had a long day ahead of me and was looking for something easy, quick and filling, so it seemed like a good time to try it.
There’s no seating inside, but a few picnic tables are provided on a covered porch area. You can order at the front counter or the drive-thru for quick, delicious meals.. Breakfast is available until noon, with coffee, cappuccino, lattes and energy drinks. There’s a full salad bar with dozens of toppings and house-made dressings, hot and cold subs and soups.
