There are plenty of chain restaurants that are based in Florida. Examples are Red Lobster, Outback Steakhouse, and Olive Garden. And many people love the predictability of these restaurants. You generally know what you're going to get.
Others, however, enjoy visiting family-owned businesses that are unique and not part of any chain. The meals are arguably more likely to be made from scratch and the owners and staff are more likely to care about your experience since they own the establishment.
