A month ago, it was easy to find a parking spot at Coletta’s Italian Restaurant in South Memphis. That’s not the case today-- but If there’s anything to learn about perseverance, just pay attention to the Coletta family. When FOX13 spoke with Lisa Coletta, the owner of the restaurant, a month ago she feared she would lose the family business that’s nearly 100 years old.
“When all this started, we were really worried that we wouldn’t survive, but now at this point, it looks like we’re going to make it," Coletta said. The family kept going despite the hardships. She said, “business is picking up. It’s slowly picking up, but it is picking up. Each week gets better and better". In just one month, they increased their bottom line by nearly 80 percent.
