It was a special occasion for my husband and me. We decided that venturing to the newly opened del Lago Resort & Casino in Tyre would offer something different to commemorate the event. While it would have been nice to take in all that the property offers by staying overnight, relaxing in the spa and playing a little in the casino, we were on a mission to try the much buzzed about restaurant, Portico by Fabio Viviani.
Viviani, a former Top Chef contestant on Bravo, currently owns an impressive 16 restaurants. But Portico is the only one you’ll find on the East. Luckily for Rochesterians, it’s only a half-hour drive from Victor on the Thruway.
