Robert and Angela Portanova decided to open a second location of Brunello's Pizzeria in East Northport because of their deep involvement in the Northport community. The Commack residents opened the casual Italian eatery last week at 398 Larkfield Road and so far have enjoyed a positive word-of-mouth reception, Angela Portanova told Patch.
The family also owns the first Brunello's Pizzeria in West Babylon and Gino's Pizzeria in Bayside, Queens. Portanova says that she and her husband, involved in the restaurant business since he was young, redid the space completely in order to create an intimate, casual place for family dining.
