The Italian countryside has arrived on New York’s 5th Avenue thanks to Eataly NYC Flatiron, which has transformed its rooftop into a flower-covered greenhouse with a seasonal menu to match. The Manhattan restaurant, named SERRA by Birreria, is designed by Milky Way Studios. It wanted the space to represent nature’s own seasonal transformation – and give visitors a firsthand reminder of that.
Guests sit beneath a lattice of greenery and flowers, which create the backdrop to SERRA’s own seasonally focused menu. Dishes will evolve across the course of the next few months, with ingredients sourced from the local Union Square Greenhouse.
