The Mario Batali Greenwich Village Food Tour, launching on Sept. 16, will offer more than tasty morsels at the famed chef's eateries. Walks of New York inked an exclusive deal with the chef 18 months ago, and its guides are well versed about his culinary philosophy.
The $64 outing stops at Otto before the popular pizzeria opens for lunch, and at Lupa, another casual spot. Participants are served cheese, pasta, salad and other house specialties as their guide discusses Mr. Batali's bio.
