Acadia Realty Trust and Washington Square Partners, co-developers of City Point, announced that Fortina, the Italian restaurant of chef, Christian Petroni, signed a 15-year, 4,612-sq. ft. lease, at the 1.8 million-sq. ft. mixed-use project in Downtown Brooklyn, New York.
Fortina will be located within the 60,000-sq. ft. concourse-level space that will also house DeKalb Market Hall (30,000-sq. ft.) and Trader Joe's (18,000 sq. ft.). The restaurant is slated to open in fall 2016 and will feature a full-bar and two wood-burning ovens churning out Petroni's famed Luigi Bianco black truffle pizza pie, fried meatballs and Burrata, among many other selections.
