A new Italian restaurant that toes the line between casual atmosphere and fine cuisine has arrived in the village's downtown. Trattoria 141, at 141 Chatsworth Ave, opened earlier this month and offers a distinctly casual atmosphere combined with sophisticated cuisine. It's a mix that Jimmy Resulbegu, who co-owns the restaurant with his wife, says is a trend in the food industry.
"People don't want to spend that much time dining anymore," Resulbegu said. "Our restaurant isn't a fine dining [experience], but we've got fine dining food."Resulbegu, who got his culinary start in Manhattan, formerly owned an Italian restaurant in Port Chester. When his lease expired, Larchmont seemed like a perfect fit.
