Some neighborhoods are quietly idyllic, others buzz with energy. The Loop hums with excitement. The stretch of Delmar Blvd from between The University City lions at Trinity and the MetroLink Station at Des Peres is teaming with interesting shops and restaurants. That's why it was named "One of the Ten Great Streets in America" by the American Planning Association.
Some of the businesses along Delmar are the cornerstones of the Loop. Others are relative newcomers that have enlivened and even extended the entertainment district eastward into the City of St. Louis. Tavolo V at 6118 Delmar Blvd, in St. Louis is one of the latter. It sits at the east end of the Loop, about a block off Skinker, near The Pageant.
