Eddy Kaquerelli is ready to bring some Italian flair to Emporia's restaurant scene. Bellissimo Italian Ristorante, managed by Kaqurelli, is open 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. Sunday - Thursday and 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The new eatery is located at 1408 Industrial Road. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Wednesday morning in celebration of its grand opening.

Kaqurelli said he is excited to be part of the Emporia community and hopes people would come out to meet him at Bellissimo. "We take a lot of pride in what we do," he said. "We love to make really good food. We know what we are doing. If the people from Emporia come here, they won't be disappointed. We are going to offer good customer service and great food. If they want to come and experience great Italian food, they should give us a try."
