Almost two years after a fire destroyed the roof and severely damaged Delta Pizza and Italian Restaurant, the business on the Main Street of this small borough near the Maryland border quietly reopened, unannounced.

May 26 was supposed to be a day for training staff members, and trouble-shooting any of the new equipment. Instead, in the first four hours of being open, the restaurant received 198 orders. People were "waiting in anticipation" to come through the door.
