The Vetri Family restaurant group has put in offers to bring its pizzeria concept to not one, but two Washington, D.C., locations. Two Pizzeria Vetri locations will be opening in the D.C. metro area. The leases aren’t signed yet, but they’re expected to open by the end of the fourth quarter this year or the first quarter of 2016, said Jeff Benjamin, partner and chief operating officer
Exact addresses will be released when the leases have been signed. Pizzeria Vetri is the Vetri Family’s first restaurant dedicated to Italian pizza. The first Philadelphia location opened two years ago at 1939 Callowhill St. A second location is slated to open at the end of May at 1615 Chancellor St.
