Italian favorites such as calzones, lasagna and chicken parmigiana are once again being served at 7 Lehigh St. in Catasauqua. The building, which housed Carmen's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria from 2007 to 2014, is now occupied by Villa Grande Pizzeria.
Co-owned by Jimmy Tomini and his sons, Alfani and Nori, the 60-seat restaurant debuted in early February and supplements the family's 2-year-old location at 225 W. Northampton St. in Bath. Diners can expect the same menu of American and Italian staples, including salads, hoagies, burgers, wings, cheesesteaks, paninis and pasta. A wide variety of specialty pizzas, $7 to $17.95, are available in three sizes: bar (12-inch), small (14-inch) and large (18-inch).
