The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Chapter of UNICO began their homemade winemaking process during Italian-American Heritage month. Chapter members and guests gathered for an afternoon of winemaking at Grape Expectations winemaking facilities in Bridgewater, NJ.
The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Chapter of UNICO is an Italian-American service organization whose motto is "Service Above Self." The organization's objectives are to promote the image of Italian Americans, to serve the community, and to contribute to charitable, cultural and educational organizations and projects. Each year, the chapter awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors who reside in Scotch Plains/Fanwood and who are of Italian descent.
