Livoti's Old World Market, a specialty Italian grocer, is slated to replace Freehold's Top Tomato on Route 537. Established in May 2010 with its first brick-and-mortar storefront in Aberdeen, Livoti's Old World Market has since expanded to include locations in Marlboro in 2014 and Middletown in 2017. The grocer touts fine produce, meat, grocery, dairy, deli, catering, and bakery departments.
The 20,000-square-foot former home of Top Tomato (which closed in 2016) will soon be home to Livoti's largest storefront, according to the Asbury Park Press. An adjacent 10,000-square-foot space is available for lease. According to a report from The Journal NJ, the location is set to open Spring 2021.
