Enzo's Pizzeria, a fixture in Budd Lake for more than 40 years, might never have opened if not for a construction injury to the restaurant's founder, Emilio Buonincontri. The owners of the Budd Lake restaurant were honored with a proclamation by the Township Council on Nov. 1 for their longtime service to the township.

"Working in this town and knowing all these people has been a wonderful experience," said Ernesto, 56, Emilio's son who runs the parlor. "We've been in the restaurant business all of our lives. When I was born, they put my feet in pizza sauce."
