For the ninth year, Redwood City’s Donato Enoteca is hosting its grand wine and food celebration featuring 100 different Italian wines. Enoteca100 Estate features some of Italy’s best Barolo, Brunello and refreshing rose wines paired with Executive Chef Donato Scotti’s regional Italian cuisine focused on simple, local and fresh ingredients.

Think suckling pig, passed appetizers, a cheese station, charcuterie, balsamic and olive oil tastings as well as coffee from acclaimed Italian roaster Gianni Frasi. It’s quite the scene, especially in the summer. The event takes place from noon to 3 p.m. July 28 at Donato Enoteca, 1041 Middlefield Road, Redwood City.
