Some food for thought. If you want the best lobster, where do you go? New England, naturally.
For peach pie? That would be Georgia. Maple syrup? Vermont has the best. Bratwurst? Wisconsin is the winner. Pizza? Norco, of course. Norco? The city by the hay? For pizza? Yup. Well, sort of.
As some of you know, I'm from Brooklyn. I followed the Dodgers out here, but the great pizza I grew up with remained there. Life is filled with compromises. For me, one was replacing hand-tossed New York-style pizza with something with crust that tasted like the cardboard box it was delivered in.
