Denver-based Mici Handcrafted Italian will open its fifth location in Lafayette, Colorado, Oct. 2 on South Boulder Road, a news release said. Last year, the chain hired partner and CEO Elliot Schiffer, who has streamlined operations and optimized the menu to prime the chain for expansion. The chain is now preparing for a sixth location in the Denver metro area.
"Lafayette has so far proven to be a great fifth location for Mici — we've received such positive support from the entire community," Schiffer said in the release. "It's clear that they care about the quality of their food, and they are currently lacking in choices in the Italian space." The new location seats 45 inside and has a 50-seat patio, which will be enclosed next year to allow for year-round dining.
