Fort Worth chef Tim Love has a new restaurant in the works celebrating Italian cuisine. Called Gemelle, it will open in spring 2019 with house-made pastas and a distinct style of pizza that's fairly new to town. The restaurant will open at 4400 White Settlement Rd., in the space previously occupied by Thurber Mingus, which closed in 2016.
Love announced the restaurant on social media, accompanied by a photo of himself and his twin daughters, Anna and Ella. "I am extremely excited to announce my daughters' 16th birthday, my new casual Italian restaurant Gemelle (Italian for twin girls)," he said. "Gemelle is located in the river district of Fort Worth. Detroit pizza, housemade pastas, and bocce!!"
