Angelo J. Coletti, age 90, of East Falmouth and Quincy, died peacefully, Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Bourne Manor Extended Care Facility in Bourne. Angelo was born in Quincy on April 10, 1927 to the late George and Antoinetta (Quintiliani) Coletti. He was raised in Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1945. He later graduated from Burdett College. He lived in Quincy for most of his life and was a longtime summer resident of East Falmouth before retiring there ten years ago.
He was the well-known owner and operator of LeColson Jewelers in Quincy, formerly of Boston, for over forty years. Angelo was a proud U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He served as a Seaman 1/c aboard the troop transport, U.S.S. Winged Arrow (AP-170) in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He received the Asiatic Pacific Medal.
