Valentine's Day is all about love, and you don't have to be an opera aficionado to fall in love with Puccini. One of the greatest composers of Italian opera, Puccini has produced many standards of the opera repertoire. So what better way to celebrate the holiday with that special someone than at a romantic concert featuring Puccini's greatest hits?
On Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dianne Wittry, will present a semi-staged all-Puccini program, accompanied by soloists from Philadelphia's well-renowned Academy of Vocal Arts.
