Casa Belvedere wants you to watch Italy's fancy footwork at the World Cup Friday afternoon at the Italian cultural center. The Grymes Hill not-for-profit hosts an a la carte lunch with items like "Bloody Mary Soup" and spring greens topped with grilled shrimp, salmon or chicken.
The full menu includes two salads and two sandwiches, plus a choice of three entrees along with a pasta made in the mansion's handsome kitchen. The soccer lunch, which offers the game on a widescreen television, runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and reservations are required. The number to call is 718-273-7660 or go to the organization's website.
