Chris Mullin's 2015 recruiting class got a major boost Monday morning. Touted Italian guard Federico Mussini told St. John's coaching staff he was turning down professional dollars to come to Queens and later signed a financial aid agreement.
The 6-foot Mussini – ranked as the No. 13 European prospect in his class, according to EuroHopes.com, and No. 7 by DraftExpress.com — was considering Gonzaga or staying home to play professionally in Italy. But he opted for New York City and the Johnnies instead.
