A one-hour video presentation featuring classic performances of duets from Italian opera including La Boheme, Otello, I Pagliacci, La Forza del Destino, La Traviata, Lucrezia Borgia, La Gioconda, Un Ballo in Maschera and I Puritani. Celebrated artists such as Jussi Bjorling, Renata Tebaldi, Mario del Monaco, Tito Gobbi, Richard Tucker, Robert Merrill, Beverly Sills, Grace Bumbry, Joan Sutherland and Luciano Pavarotti are among the wonderful singers giving moving and thrilling renditions. Q&A will follow with light fare and refreshments.

Bill Ronayne is from Brooklyn, NY. He is the founder and President of the Mario Lanza Society of New York and the President, Secretary, and Publicity Director for the Mario Lanza Institute and Museum in Philadelphia. He has written extensively about Lanza, organizes events in his honor and regularly gives lectures about Lanza's life and career as well as on opera and song. His most recent publication is a reference work about Lanza's movies entitled "The Films of Mario Lanza."
