For Victoria Tuttle, softball is taking her much further than around the bases. The 16-year-old Nashoba sophomore has been named a member of the U.S. Premier Softball team, which will be playing in Southern Italy next summer. Victoria, the daughter of Donna and Bill Tuttle, of Lancaster, is looking for help to pay the expenses.
"I have been playing softball for 10 years," Victoria said. "I started playing in my old town in Hudson and continued when I moved a year ago to Lancaster and started varsity softball my freshman year." A former teammate recommended her to the U.S. team. "They were looking for an experienced player and an overall good person to represent our country. Sue Loo, the manager, contacted me and invited me on this amazing opportunity," she said.
