"An Italian-American Family," a film and exhibit of mixed-media artwork inspired and informed by the Benedettos of Noroton Heights, Darien, Conn., will be presented at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Presidents' Hall in the Mazzaferro Center, 291 Highland Ave. Admission is free.
The exhibition was created using Fitchburg State Professor Helen Obermeyer-Simmons' husband's family history, photos and documents as source material.
The project was funded by a grant from the Center for Italian Culture at Fitchburg State University.
