The story of an exemplary restoration recounts, with texts and photos, the important patronage by UNIC – Italian Tanneries and LINEAPELLE that supported and made possible the restoration work of the tannery, discovered in 1873 within the excavations of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, until its reopening to the public in 2023.

The presentation of the volume will be accompanied by photographic and multimedia content that will provide added value to the narrative, testifying to the evolution of the Italian tanning industry that has been able to maintain its artisan roots while projecting itself towards innovation and sustainability.
