On the occasion of the celebrations for the 2500 years of history of the city of Naples and of Fare Cinema, an initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperations to promote Italian cinema and Italian cinema in the world, we host a special screening of the documentary Posso entrare? An Ode to Naples, written and directed by Trudie Styler, produced by Big Sur Mad Entertainment Production with Rai Cinemaa and in collaboration with Luce Cinecittà.
Naples is a city with a reputation. A city of culture, of creativity, but also a city of chaos and criminal neglect. Director Trudie Styler confronts the challenge, the intrigue, and the complexities of this unique city. Allowing the people of Naples to tell their own story reveals a city of generosity and cruelty, a city of light and stark shadows.
