Distilleria Le Crode, distilling Grappa according to tradition

Distilleria Le Crode – located along river Piave, between Valdobbiadene and Feltre – is one of the few remaining plants in Italy to uphold Veneto’s long-standing traditional grappa-making methods – indeed, it even uses steam-powered copper stills from the early 1900s.

The distillery clearly honors its own long history, during which artisanal knowledge has been passed along intact from generation to generation. Today, master distiller Vincenzo Agostini is the only heir of the historical value of Grappa Bellunese, once considered one of the best Italian grappas.
