Maurizio Peccolo
Chef Maurizio Peccolo’s culinary story began in Switzerland, where he was born to Italian parents who had emigrated during the 1950s and 1960s. Family gatherings filled with Italian voices and homemade meals shaped his passion for food. One vivid memory is his father’s version of risi e bisi, finished with a splash of red wine. Peccolo began his professional career in 1979 after training in Castelfranco Veneto. His work later took him across Italy, Monaco, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Russia, Japan, and the United States. Today he is Executive Chef and co-owner of Broadmoor Osteria Italiana in New Jersey.
