Sebastian Maniscalco is returning to Las Vegas for 2 weekends of comedy at the Encore Theater inside Wynn Las Vegas, extending his successful relationship with one of the city’s most prestigious entertainment venues.
The Italian American comedian will perform 8 shows across August and October 2026. The first engagement is scheduled for Friday, August 7, and Saturday, August 8, followed by a second weekend on Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10. Each evening will feature performances at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Chicago comedian Pat McGann will open the August shows, while Pete Correale, Maniscalco’s longtime friend and podcast collaborator, will appear during the October engagement. Guests must be at least 12 years old to attend.
The residency gives audiences another opportunity to experience the animated physical comedy, family stories and sharp social observations that have made Maniscalco one of America’s most successful stand-up performers. His routines frequently draw on his Italian American upbringing, contrasting the strict manners and expectations of his parents’ generation with the habits of contemporary American life.
Born in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights on July 8, 1973, Maniscalco grew up in a family with roots in Sicily, Naples and Campania. His father, Salvatore, immigrated to the United States from Cefalù, Sicily, at age 15, while his mother’s family came from the Naples area. That heritage remains central to his comedy, particularly his stories about food, weddings, hospitality and family discipline.
Maniscalco moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and spent years performing at open-mic nights while working as a waiter at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. His gradual rise eventually led to sold-out arenas, major television appearances and 7 stand-up specials.
His latest special, It Ain’t Right, premiered on Hulu in November 2024. The accompanying tour became one of the largest comedy tours in North America, continuing a run that previously placed him at the top of Pollstar’s comedy rankings.
Maniscalco has also developed a substantial acting career. He appeared in the Academy Award-winning Green Book in 2018 and portrayed Joe Gallo in Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman in 2019. His other credits include The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Somewhere in Queens and About My Father, the 2023 comedy inspired by his relationship with his Sicilian-born father and co-starring Robert De Niro.
Las Vegas has become an important second home for Maniscalco’s live performances. The intimate Encore Theater allows him to bring audiences closer to the facial expressions, gestures and carefully timed movements that define his energetic stage presence.
