In 2025 Italy was reported to have welcomed approximately 185 million tourists. And statistics show Calabria, a land of stunning coastlines, ancient villages, castles and archaeological sites, received a record number of approximately 2 million of those visitors.
Approximately 4 million Italians emigrated to the U.S. between 1880 and 1920 and a sizable portion of these were from Calabria, particularly during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
