Beginning on October 1, 2026, Italy’s public broadcaster Rai will expand its television offering with the launch of Italiana, a brand-new thematic channel devoted entirely to showcasing the country’s extraordinary identity, landscapes, traditions, and communities.
Broadcasting on digital terrestrial channel 57, the network is designed to become a daily window into the many places that make Italy one of the world’s most admired destinations. Rather than focusing on a single region or a specific type of programming, Italiana will present a comprehensive portrait of the nation.
