In Palm Beach County, October 2026 has officially been designated Italian American Heritage Month. The proclamation was presented on October 6 to Michele Mistò, Consul General of Italy in Miami, by Commissioner Maria Sachs during a meeting of the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners.
The recognition once again celebrates the roots and traditions of the Italian American community. It also honours the contribution that generations of Italians and their descendants have made to the growth of the area.
